The hotel sits atop a hill in the center of the Nasu Onsen area. Its onsen, Shikano-yu, is ranked the 5th greatest Onsen by a JTB customer survey. Bicycles are allowed in all rooms including those with the Japanese-style tatami mats. There is easy access to Mt. Nasu and serves as a cycling base to several routes.
